Happy Holidays, everyone.
You all. We made it to the end of the year! No matter what, we’re so grateful to still be connecting and nourishing community with you.
The way our team and community have shown up for one another this year has made us so proud. I couldn’t think of another group of people so willing to share and support in times of need. It’s safe to say a few of us have hit crisis mode more than once in the past twelve months. I couldn’t begin to describe what a difference it’s made having a little loving work family like the Centered team.
Thank you for being our friends <3
To all who come to our space for the many reasons one may, thank you! You show us all the ways one can grow, nourish, create, expand, be held, be kind… it is a joy to spend time with each of you and to have a reason to share space with such good folks. Your support means everything to us. One of the ways y’all have shown your support this year was our Holiday Arts Bazaar featuring local craftspeople and artists from our Centered team. New faces and old, it was great to see you all!
Below are some shots of our team members, vending artisans, and holiday shoppers. Keep reading to learn about our virtual silent auction benefitting the Nest.
The Auction
We’re extending the silent auction virtually through Wednesday, December 22 for anyone interested in local gifts and personalized wellness services!

Whitney Collins is the artist of these watercolors prints and author of BIG BAD. This short story collection was published by Sarabande Books and won the 2019 Mary McCarthy Prize in Short Fiction.
Part domestic horror, part flyover gothic, Big Bad serves up real-world predicaments in unremarkable places (motels, dormitories, tiki bars), all with Collins’s heart-wrenching flavor of magical realism.

Somatic (body-based) coaching differs from other therapies in that it highlights your connection to your body. It also emphasizes the importance of direct experiences (as opposed to thoughts) as the central vehicle towards deeper freedom.
While the focus of your work in this 75-minute session will be the improvement of your intimate and relational lives, there may be other areas of your life (i.e. work, school, family history, etc.), which inform your overall well-being. You may discuss these and other realms with Lauren in order to help you move through relationship and intimacy blocks. Click through this link to learn more about the somatic method in her Intimacy & Relationship coaching sessions.
